Youth Ministries
We love families worshiping together. At Mountain Bible, kids and youth join their families for the first 30 minutes of our Sunday morning services. After worship, children and teens are dismissed to age-appropriate Bible lessons designed to help them grow in their faith alongside their peers.

Encounter Kids
(Birth – 5th Grade)
Our kids’ ministry is a safe, joyful place where little ones learn about God’s love through stories, songs, and hands-on activities. From nursery through 5th grade, our goal is to nurture faith, build friendships, and help kids discover what it means to follow Jesus.

Encounter Students
(6th – 12th Grade)
A space for middle and high schoolers to ask big questions, study Scripture deeply, and build lasting community. Students are encouraged to live out their faith authentically at church, at home, and in the world.
Why This Ministry Matters
In his book A New Kind of Leader, Reggie Joiner outlines seven truths that shape how we serve the next generation.
These principles guide the heart of MBC’s ministry:
Kids Matter. The best time to invest is early—spiritual seeds planted young grow strong roots. A church that welcomes kids welcomes Jesus.
A Strategy Matters. Ministry works best when it’s intentional. At MBC, our mission is to hold forth the Word of Life—and strategy ensures we live that out well.
Your Church Matters. For many children and students, MBC may be their first and best chance to find a place where they truly belong.
Every Family Matters. Families come in all shapes and sizes, but every child is made in God’s image and deeply loved by Him—and by us.
The Truth Matters…When Love Matters. Kids may forget what we say, but they’ll always remember how we made them feel. Truth and love go hand in hand.
Doing Good Matters. Faith grows when children and teens serve others. We’re building opportunities for students to serve alongside adults in every ministry.
This Week Matters. From birth to high school graduation, there are just 936 weeks to shape a life. Each week counts, and together we want to make the most of it.
Thank you to everyone who serves in our kids and student ministries—you may never fully know the depth of your impact, but you matter to the Lord, and you matter to Mountain Bible Church.
